Types of Salt -
 
Fine Grind/ Sel Fin, French Sea Salt from Celtic Sea:
 
Fine Grind salt is finely milled, resulting in small, uniform grains that are perfect for general seasoning and cooking. It is going to feel the most similar to table salt while remaining high in mineral content. Sourced from the Celtic Sea in France.
 
Coarse Grey/ Sel Gris, French Sea Salt from the Celtic Sea:
 
Coarse grey salt has a slightly moist texture and coarse grains, making it perfect for adding texture and a burst of flavor to dishes. As the name suggests, it has a light grey color, reflecting its natural and unrefined state. Sourced from the Celtic Sea in France.
 
Ocean Flower/ Fleur de Sel, French Sea Salt from Celtic Sea:
 
This is the creme de la creme of the Celtic Sea, known for its delicate, pyramid-shaped crystals. It's the most prized and least common form of Sea Salt. It has a beautiful off-white color, and it's considered one of the purest forms of sea salt. It dissolves quickly on the tongue, imparting a subtle burst of flavor. It's ideal for enhancing the taste of high-quality dishes like fresh salads, raw seafood, or artisanal chocolates.

MOISTURE IN SALT:- This French Sea Salt (from the Celtic Sea)  is supposed to be wet due to the grey clay from natural pools in France from which it's harvested. Both Ocean Flower and Coarse Grey are known to have high moisture. The salt is unrefined and due to the bio-availability of high minerals, these types contain moisture.
 
Fine Grind Sea Salt (derived from Coarse Grey Salt) is not known to have much moisture, we recommend buying this if you are looking for low moisture content.
 
The freezer is a dehumidifier, and placing your salt in the freezer overnight with the lid off can help to reduce moisture.
 
We also recommend storing the salt in a wooden container for longevity.
